Standard vs Parallel Analysis: Which Should You Use?
PitchView AI gives you two ways to analyze a video: standard and parallel. They produce the same kind of timestamped events — the difference is speed and how long videos are handled.

Standard analysis
Standard analysis processes the video in a single pass. It is simple and great for short clips, highlights, or single plays where speed is not a concern.
Parallel analysis
Parallel analysis splits the video into overlapping chunks and analyzes them concurrently, with live progress as each chunk completes. For a full match it is dramatically faster, and the overlap means events near chunk boundaries are not missed.
Which to choose
Use standard for short footage (under ~20 minutes). Use parallel for full matches and long sessions. Both give you the same timestamped event timeline at the end.
